France Second Rehearsal
Back in the arena post-lunch we are ready to resume with the second half of today's rehearsal schedule, although it would appear in the press room that France are less than ready from a technical point of view, with the giant words leaping out of the screen masking Carla's face in some of the camera angles, seemingly unintentionally.

The strong favourites in the run up to this contest, Carla being drawn in the ill-fated second spot in the running order may have thrown France's preparations in to disarray with the song Bim Bam Toi. Whilst the online voting across the weekend means performing early on doesn't carry the same disadvantage as the adult contest (we HAVE had a winner from 2nd at Junior for example), it has raised doubts as to whether or not this is still their competition to lose.
France only returned to the Junior Eurovision Song Contest last year, after a 14-year absence since their debut in 2004. They finished second in 2018 and will be hoping to go one better in 2019.
David Webster will be reporting live from rehearsals throughout the day on Gateway 97.8 (www.gateway978.com). For UK commentary with ESC Insight's Ewan Spence and Ben Robertson, tune in to Castlepoint FM on Sunday 24th November from 15:00 GMT.
